In order to be even considered the greatest player you must actually have the ability to fucking win. If you can't win then what are you even playing for? Russell may have idols and some kind of strategy but its clear he lacks what it takes to win the game. He's lost 2 times because he sucks at having a decent social game and that's a fact. Getting to the end is one thing, winning the game is another.

He clearly lacks the skill to win the game and that makes him a shitty player

True, but theres also a lot of really good players who got voted out right before final tribal. But I guess the fact they got voted out doesn't make them the best~

That's a complete joke, you can't just say because they won they're all better players. The end game winner is based on voting.. I guess the King's Speech was the greatest movie of 2010 then? The Social Network doesn't even come CLOSE.

Almost half of the Survivor winners or more won because the jury is made up of little babies. I'm sure if Big Brother Jury voted like less than a week after they got backstabed we would probably have Memphis, Daniele, and Erika as winners.

Also we don't see any social aspects to the game of Survivor, do we ever seen a glimpse of people talking about about general shit? I'm sure Russell doesn't sit around and cuss everyone out all day long, how the fuck do you think he gets loyal allies to stick by him the first 2 seasons he has played.

I would put Parvati ahead of Russell, but some of you are just too narrow minded, just because you don't like his cocky attitude doesn't mean he sucks.

I have the same personality (game wise) are you going to hate me because of that? Probably not b/c I'm totally different outside of the games, there is a entertainment value that is hyped up from few people. Now if you want to go watch Sandra or Evel Dick for a full season, you need to start watching little kids play Candy Land instead of Survivor.

What I'm trying to get across is his gameplay to get to the end is extremely careless. It's one thing to know you played a douchey, own up to playing that kinda game (Todd did this well) but to act like a complete douchebag to everyone after you've backstabbed them doesn't equal good gameplay with me lol.

I've been watching survivor since Season 1 and it makes me sick to think that he comes anywhere near as good as the people who practically invented the game and perfected some of the strategies that he would later use.

and yes I do think being a winner equates to being a better player. sorry you can think im wrong, its fine lol, but I got a right to an opinion and I will damn well use it here yay

To kinda divert the attention back to Redemption Island, I thought this episode was kinda bland but I don't think these people are playing well, Rob included. They're playing WAY too hard, too early. Rob voted out Kristina, the social threat over Phillip, the annoying one. Well, in order for your alliance to be a success, you can't vote everyone out. They should have kept Kristina around for 1 reason: she's better at challenges. They keep losing mostly b/c of Phillip. Phillip couldn't hit the targets. Phillip couldn't saw the wall. Phillip couldn't push the stairs. GET RID OF THE WEAK PERSON AND YOU'LL STOP GOING TO TRIBAL IN THE FIST PLACE.
