Some may describe Taylor Swift as shy, but really, the country cutie is everything but.
“I always write songs about my life,” Swift tells The Telegraph in a new interview. “If you’re horrible to me I’m going to write a song about you and you are not going to like it. That’s how I operate.”
Ex-girlfriend’s everywhere thank you. While her personal life can be semi-decoded through her lyrics, there is one thing that Taylor Swift draws the line at: getting naked.
“It’s just a life decision. I like wearing pretty dresses and I like trying out new styles, but I don’t feel comfortable taking my clothes off,” Swift says, defending previous statements she made that she doesn’t want to simply be a sex symbol. “I wouldn’t wear tiny amounts of clothing in my real life so I don’t think it’s necessary to wear that stuff in photo-shoots.”
We dig the way Taylor gives us and fans something (like her vulnerability through her music) but doesn’t need to give it all away, aka getting naked all the time to try and sell something.
So what can we expect from Taylor Swift next? Obviously the public assumes Jake Gyllenhaal, Chord Overstreet, and Garrett Hedlund have given her some material.
“Ugh,” Swift groaned when asked in the interview what we can expect. “Lot’s of different things.”
